Anyone for Cricket? Hog Roast Bradley at Cricket Club social night.

Seeing people playing cricket in their white sports uniforms is a sight that really evokes the sense of a British summer. Hog Roast Bradley were delighted to be hired by the Bradley Cricket Club Chairperson to be the catering for the annual summer social night.

Hog Roast BradleyThe party was exclusively for the Cricket Club members and partners, meaning that it had a total guest list of 27, but to ensure there was enough food the Hog Roast Bradley team planned to prepare enough to feed 30 people. The buffet menu for the event was to be informal but sophisticated and healthy.

All the tasty treats on offer at the buffet were made fresh on the day of the gathering. The Hog Roast Bradley Chef arrived at the cricket grounds and set up the catering gazebo, equipment and serving table six hours prior to the 6:30 serving time. This allowed the Chef plenty of time to have everything ready, including the quirky, high quality wooden crockery and cutlery that the team provided for the guests to use.

The main attraction at the buffet table was the slow roasted pig, complete with crispy crackling, stuffing and tangy apple sauce. It wasn’t all there was however, there were lots of other tasty, tempting treats on offer. The guests could tuck into piping hot jacket potatoes, fresh leafy green salad, tomato and basil salad and coleslaw. There were also grilled vegetable skewers with a variety of different dips the guests could try for that extra zing!

With such a delicious list of dishes on offer it’s not surprise that the food was all swiftly eaten. The Chef quietly tidied and left site, leaving the guests to get on with enjoying their evening. There was no tidying up to be done following the buffet as the Chef did all the cleaning up, which was part of the bespoke catering package the clients had selected for their event.

The guests and clients were absolutely bowled over by the buffet and said the service they had received was out-standing!
