Pigs In Buns For All – Hog Roast Biggin
Whatever kind of party or event you might be organising, from the special day of your wedding to a corporate function, or anything in-between, Hog Roast Biggin is the perfect choice. One of our signature centrepiece hog roasts may be just the ticket to impress your guests no end, whether you choose the resulting hot meat and crackling to be served inside rolls and wraps together with our own-recipe apple sauce and stuffing, or as part of a sit-down meal with seasonal vegetables, potatoes and all the trimmings, including our homemade onion gravy.
Nevertheless, we’ve spent many years perfecting our Hog Roast Biggin menus to include options that not only satisfy carnivore guests who would prefer a different meat but also those on special diets, as well as so our customers can build their own menu of several courses if preferred.
So if you fancy spit-roasted or barbecued meat, we can easily do that for you instead, or we can put together one of our special standalone menus that we serve all-year-round, like our Loaded Fries or Southern Slow Roast. We can provide vegetarian and vegan options, as well as ones for guests with allergies or intolerances, as long as we have advance notice to be able to create a perfect suitable dish, fresh on the day. Plus with various canapés, starters, sides or desserts, we can serve up a feast of several courses if that’s what you need.
At this time of year, Hog Roast Biggin also offers a mouthwatering festive menu, with two meat mains to choose from (slow-roasted free-range hog or whole-roasted turkeys, and there’s a vegetarian main of halloumi and veg wraps if needed), accompanied by several sides and trimmings and our mince pies with brandy cream to finish.
Sometimes, however, one of our hog roast mains is exactly what’s wanted and for a fancy dress birthday party that we catered at the weekend, that’s just what we made. After the hog sizzled to perfection for hours on end, our chef sliced off the salty crackling, carved up the melt-in-the-mouth meat and then it was finally time to add both to wraps and rolls together with our apple sauce and stuffing, and time to satisfy everyone’s hunger.
