Our Alfresco is a three-course, Italian-style menu, which is an excellent informal way to enjoy our signature food of a sumptuous centrepiece hog roast but with plenty more food too, including antipasti platters to start and homemade desserts to finish. We serve you Italian meats, cheeses and breads of salami, Parma ham, Gorgonzola, Parmagiano, Buffalo mozzarella, focaccia, ciabatta and breadsticks, alongside extra-virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar, followed by a hog roast with sides and then two puddings, such as cheesecake and fruit salad. Our Loaded Fries may instead be perfect for your party or event and it’s where we load our fresh-cooked fries with tasty toppings of meat, slaw, cheese and jalapenos, and you get to decide on the meat and slaw in advance – either brisket of beef or pulled pork and either a zesty or spicy slaw. It’s all up to you!
A Hog Roast Pocklington Southern Slow Roast could be the ideal choice for your special occasion, where we cook up a storm of three marinated meat mains – from beef brisket, pork butt, spicy chickens, sticky pork ribs and minted lamb – which you decide when you book, and they’re accompanied by four hot or cold sides of your choice too. On the other hand, our Traditional Barbecue is popular throughout the year but often more so in these warmer months and ours comprises several grilled meats and sides, including burgers, sausages, ribs, chicken kebabs, salad, coleslaw and chips or sweet potato fries (or a combo of both).
