Hog Roast Harrogate Celebrates Friendmas

Hog Roast HarrogateChristmas has long been about gathering with immediate family, but who says your chosen family—your friends—shouldn’t get in on the festivities too? Enter Friendmas, the latest trend that’s quickly becoming a holiday staple. It’s exactly what it sounds like: a Christmas celebration with your closest friends. With no pressure and plenty of cheer, it’s the perfect way to spread the holiday spirit beyond your family tree.

This year, Hog Roast Harrogate has had the pleasure of catering for countless Friendmas events, and let us tell you—they’re as heartwarming as they are fun! One celebration that stood out was hosted by Lindsay and Robert, a dynamic duo who’ve fully embraced Friendmas as their new tradition.

Lindsay and Robert decided to gather their entire friendship circle for a day of pure joy: gift exchanges, belly laughs, and unforgettable memories. But instead of spending hours sweating over a hot stove, they opted to keep things stress-free by calling us in to handle the feast.

And what a feast it was! Hog Roast Harrogate served up our signature Festive Menu for their group of 20, delivering a meal that was both mouthwatering and merry. For the main event, the hosts chose our renowned hog roast banquet. Slow-roasted to perfection, our free-range hogs come complete with crispy crackling, stuffing, and applesauce that’s the stuff of dreams. To complement the star of the show, we added festive favourites: creamy cauliflower cheese, golden roasties, glazed seasonal vegetables, and, of course, pigs in blankets. Smothered in our homemade gravy, the meal was a hit.

Hog Roast HarrogateThe best part? The relaxed, joyful atmosphere. With Hog Roast Harrogate handling the food, Lindsay, Robert, and their guests were free to enjoy every moment of their Friendmas celebration. There was no stress, no hassle—just great company and great food.

By the end of the evening, the group had unanimously agreed: Friendmas is here to stay! They’ve already promised to continue the tradition next year, and have told us to expect a call. We can’t wait!

If, like Lindsay and Robert, you’ve been dreaming of a way to bring your friends together for the holidays without the usual stress, Friendmas is the perfect tradition to adopt next year. After all, the more, the merrier—especially when Hog Roast Harrogate is involved!
