Old Hollywood Glamour Meets Modern-Day Indulgence: Hog Roast Staithes Caters For Callie & Justin’s Wedding Extravaganza

Hog Roast StaithesIf you love a bit of glitz and a whole lot of glam, then you would have adored Callie and Justin’s show-stopping wedding celebration! This loved-up duo recently tied the knot in dazzling style, choosing an ‘Old Hollywood Glamour’ theme that oozed sophistication, sparkle, and timeless elegance.

Their venue? A stylish hotel that served as a total blank canvas. But leave it to this stylish couple to transform it into a scene straight from a vintage movie set. Think black, gold, and cream details everywhere you looked – ostrich feather centrepieces dripping with strings of pearls, chandeliers cascading from the ceiling, and not a detail out of place. With 200 impeccably dressed guests, Justin looking slick in his tux, and Callie serving Marilyn Monroe realness in an ivory gown, the vibe was pure red carpet magic.

Of course, a glamorous affair like this called for equally spectacular food, and that’s where we at Hog Roast Staithes stepped into the spotlight!

Kicking off the festivities in style, guests were greeted with champagne and a hand-crafted array of canapés that looked as good as they tasted – smoked Scottish salmon, gourmet sausages, mini quiches, duck wraps, and spring rolls made their rounds to rave reviews.

Once seated, it was time for the main event – and no, we’re not just talking about the speeches! Our signature hog roast, complete with crispy crackling, homemade stuffing, and rich applesauce, had guests entranced. Alongside it, we served whole-roasted sirloin of prime beef with Yorkshire puddings and velvety red wine gravy, plus grilled veggie skewers (with or without halloumi) for our plant-loving guests.

Hog Roast StaithesAnd let’s not forget the side stars: creamy dauphinoise potatoes, zesty coleslaw, seasonal salads, and a classic Caesar to round out the feast. It was a spread worthy of Hollywood’s elite.

The final flourish? A dessert duo of strawberry vacherins with passionfruit cream and dainty mini cheesecakes. But the night wasn’t over for Hog Roast Staithes yet…

As 50 more guests arrived for the evening bash, we kept the good times (and good food) rolling with piping hot fish and chip cones – because let’s be honest, who doesn’t want late-night snacks after tearing up the dancefloor?
