Holly left the UK to travel after she graduated from university in the summer of 2021. Since then, she has been touring the world, visiting Europe, Asia, Australia, and more. This summer, her travelling plans are coming to an end and she is returning to Scotland in July. As expected, all of her family and friends are over the moon and can’t wait to have her back in the same country! To celebrate her return. Holly’s mum is in the process of planning a welcome party, as a way to gather all of her favourite people in one place. The party will take place at her family home in Scotland, and Hog Roast Pickering has been hired to cater for the wonderful occasion. Our catering manager Steve discussed a variety of catering options for the party, and it was decided that a gourmet BBQ would be ideal.

In preparation for this party, Steve and the Hog Roast Pickering team will arrive at the family home in the afternoon to prepare for the 6:00pm serving time. We will prepare a wide variety of main dishes, including succulent sausages, veggie sausages, juicy beef burgers, halloumi and vegetable skewers, and marinated chicken kebabs. These dishes will be served in fresh bread rolls, alongside homemade chips, gourmet coleslaw, corn cobettes, and a selection of fresh salad dishes to create a varied and nutritious evening buffet.
